Pawprint ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Osprey Technology LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Pawprint mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. By using Pawprint, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when you create an account, use our Service, or contact us for support.

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign up using Apple Sign In or email.
  • Pet Information: Details about your pets, including name, breed, age, weight, and any special care instructions you provide.
  • Location Data: Your approximate location to help you discover pet service providers near you. Location is collected only when the app is in use and you have granted permission.
  • Payment Information: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment data on our servers.
  • Communications: Messages you send through our in-app messaging feature to service providers.
  • Provider Information: If you register as a provider, we collect additional information including your service descriptions, pricing, availability, and identity verification details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Connect pet owners with service providers in their area
  • Process payments and send transaction confirmations
  • Send push notifications about bookings, messages, and important updates
  • Verify provider identity and maintain platform safety
  • Respond to your requests, questions, and support inquiries
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the user experience
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate Pawprint:

  • Stripe: For secure payment processing. Stripe collects and processes payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
  • Apple Sign In: For authentication. Apple shares only the information you authorize during sign-in.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3: For secure storage of user-uploaded content such as profile photos and pet images.
  • Apple Push Notification service (APNs): For delivering push notifications to your device.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics.

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at support@pawprint.company.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The Pawprint mobile application does not use cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Basic usage analytics may be collected through Apple's built-in app analytics.

8. Children's Privacy

Pawprint is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
